I see you!

Purpose of Arzola Blog

The purpose for this blog is to keep all interested parties (family, friends, etc) updated on the status of our family, The Arzola Family. As our family grows, you will have access to keep up and/or interact with us. Please feel free to comment. Thank you for your interest in our family.

Our Story

We met during our college years at Fresno Pacific University. Patty was working for the offices of OutReach Ministries and David was working for an Outreach boys youth group through that department. We soon became friends and learned a lot about each other through our compassion for children and our commitment to serving the Lord. Time passed and our bond grew through various experiences based in ministry and service.

We realized that there was something more to our friendship the summer of 2001 while on a missions trip in Mexico. It was exciting and we were elated. We continued our courtship for four years, in which we both completed our studies at Fresno Pacific, got to know each other's families and friends, and bonded together through a fellowship in Christ.

Patty was teaching a bilingual kindergarten class in Fresno and David was newly hired as a sixth grade teacher in Dinuba when he proposed and she said YES! a year later on June 10, 2006 we were married at our home church, Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church in Fresno. We felt connected and energized to pursue our life together.

The following year we had saved enough pennies to be able to buy our first home and were blessed to have found a model house that we quickly made into a home. By this time we were well into our chosen careers as teachers and had increased our service at our church as Lectors and became part of the Parish Council. Life as we knew it was good and we were delighted.

Another year had come and gone and we had many firsts in our new home. Having been married two years, we were ecstatic to learn that we were Pregnant!, which leads us to today we have just celebrated our third year anniversary and are expecting the arrival of our baby any day now. We feel we have been blessed abundantly and are excited to continue our new lives as parents.
